Should I protect my vehicle before winter?
Fall is a smart time to remove existing contamination and add appropriate paint protection before months of salt, slush, moisture, and winter road film arrive. The right level depends on your vehicle, use, storage, and ownership goals.
Does ceramic coating make my vehicle rust-proof?
No. Ceramic coating protects painted exterior surfaces and can make contamination easier to clean, but it is not underbody rustproofing and does not make a vehicle immune to road salt, chips, scratches, or corrosion. Regular winter maintenance still matters.
Is standard sealant enough, or do I need ceramic?
A maintained daily driver may be well served by the spray sealant included with a standard exterior detail. Newer, enthusiast, luxury, or long-term vehicles may justify longer-lasting ceramic protection. We’ll recommend the simpler option when it makes sense.
Can mobile detailing be completed in winter weather?
Winter appointments depend on temperature, precipitation, work location, and the service being performed. If conditions are not suitable for safe, quality work, we’ll communicate and reschedule accordingly.
How much does exterior detailing cost?
Exterior detailing is $125 for a coupe/sedan and $145 for SUVs, trucks, vans, and 3-row vehicles. The standard service includes the exterior wash, wheels, tire shine, exterior windows, and spray-sealant paint protection.
Will this remove scratches?
An exterior detail can improve gloss and make some light marks less noticeable, but deeper scratches require paint correction and some damage cannot be safely removed. We explain what is realistic first.
Will it remove oxidation?
Mild oxidation may improve with the right enhancement. Severe oxidation or failing paint may need correction or body-shop work. The condition is assessed before promising a result.
How long does the result last?
Longevity depends on the protection selected, weather, storage, mileage, and how the vehicle is washed afterward.
How often should I detail the exterior?
There is no one schedule for every driver. Your mileage, parking, weather exposure, and preferred appearance determine the smartest maintenance interval.
Do I need ceramic coating?
Not always. Ceramic protection makes sense when you want longer-lasting gloss, easier maintenance, and added protection. If a simpler option fits your goal, we’ll tell you.
Do I need to provide water?
Water requirements can vary by location and service. We confirm exactly what is needed before the appointment so there are no surprises.
Do I need to provide electricity?
Power requirements depend on the agreed service and work location. Any access requirement is confirmed with you before arrival.
Can you come to my workplace?
Yes, when there is a safe and permitted place to work. We serve homes and workplaces across Kent, Akron, Cleveland, Medina, and surrounding Northeast Ohio.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as we have safe access to the vehicle and an approved place to work, you do not need to remain home during the service.
